Physician-executive and trusted advisor to senior leaders across healthcare innovation and global life sciences ecosystem.
Dr. Aparna Ahuja is a physician-executive and founder of AJA Life Sciences Advisory LLC, bringing over 20 years of global leadership across clinical research, medical affairs, healthcare innovation and diagnostics.
She advises senior executives, boards, and investors on clinical strategy, evidence generation, and decision-making for diagnostics, life sciences, and precision medicine. Her work focuses on helping organizations navigate complex inflection points—translating science into clear clinical direction, regulatory alignment, and commercially viable strategies.
Dr. Ahuja has held senior leadership roles at Abbott, Becton Dickinson, and T2 Biosystems, where she built and led global clinical and medical organizations, designed end-to-end evidence strategies, and supported regulatory approvals and global product adoption. Her experience spans in vitro diagnostics, molecular and genomic testing, and AI-enabled healthcare, with a track record of advancing innovation from development through commercialization and clinical adoption.
Dr. Ahuja’s early career has been focussed on population-scale clinical laboratory systems and clinical services, regulatory inspections (CAP, FDA, ISO, NABL, ANVISA), senior leadership in large-scale clinical laboratory networks (Agilus Diagnostics — formerly SRL Diagnostics — Fortis Global, Dr Lal PathLabs) in India and across APAC and EMEA regions. Deep knowledge of routine and advanced lab tests for cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, neurological diseases, genetic and prenatal, as well as technology enabled solutions to improve health outcomes.
